Cavallotto Grign Langhe Grignolino 2016

Grign is Cavallotto's Grignolino from a small parcel within their Bricco Boschis cru in Castiglione Falletto. Fermented with native yeasts after five days on the skins, it ages 12 months in steel. Medium-light and pale, almost rosé in colour, it offers red fruit, especially small strawberries, with a spicy, herbal bouquet. The estate generally suggests drinking it within about three years, so this 2016 is a mature bottle.
