About this wine
In 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon takes the lead at Château Brown, giving a denser, more structured wine than the Merlot-led 2018. Picked by hand, sorted twice and fermented parcel by parcel, it spent twelve months in French oak (40% new) before bottling at the château in April 2022. Deep in colour, it opens on ripe black cherry, then turns supple, fruity and fleshy, with a broad, rich palate, present yet silky tannins and a powerful black-fruit finish. The estate expects it to keep well beyond 15 years.
