About this wine
Greysac's 2019 comes from a 68-hectare vineyard on a clay-gravel hilltop at Bégadan, with vines averaging 35 years. After a two-day cold soak and a four-to-five-week cuvaison in steel and cement, malolactic in oak and three months of lees stirring, it aged 12 months, half in one-year-old French oak and half in tank. The estate notes plums and berries with a floral accent, a medium body, polished tannins and a note of spice in the background.
