About this wine

In 2014 a relatively cool, dry Pauillac summer built remarkable acidity, and a hot, dry September and October finished the ripening. Harvest ran from 24 September to 11 October, with a pause to let the old Cabernets ripen fully; only 68% of the crop went into the grand vin, aged 18 months in barrel, 75% new. The estate describes a deep colour, an aromatic nose and a rich, unctuous palate wrapped in silky tannins, balancing power, freshness and elegance.
