About this wine

Mouton's 2009 came from a sunny, dry summer with hot days and cool September nights; picking ran from 23 September to 13 October. The blend is 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Merlot. The estate describes a very deep, almost black wine with bilberry, blackcurrant and blond tobacco, cedarwood and spice on the nose, a dense, refined palate of forward ripe fruit and well-rounded tannins, and an opulent, long finish. The 2009 label was illustrated by Anish Kapoor.
