from the producer
Château Pavie is a 37-hectare Saint-Émilion estate on a prominent slope, with clay and limestone soils and vines averaging 45 years. Gérard Perse took over in 1998, and the property’s modern reputation grew under his stewardship. Estate information records hand harvesting, substantial new-barrel ageing and production of about 90,000 bottles annually.
