Château Rousselle traces its history to 1636 and earned nineteenth-century recognition as a Premier Bourgeois estate. Since 1999, Vincent Lemaitre has led its renewal. The property farms Côtes de Bourg vineyards in and around Saint-Ciers-de-Canesse, with a focus on controlled grassing, careful vine work, and restrained yields.
