from the producer
Clos de la Roilette is the Coudert family’s Fleurie estate, restored after Fernand Coudert acquired and replanted it in 1967. Alain joined him in 1984, and the next generation now helps oversee the sustainably farmed property. The estate’s roughly 10 hectares combine heavy clay, granite and Gamay, producing Fleurie with unusual breadth and aging ability.
