La Petite Marquise is the second label of Clos du Marquis, the Delon family's Saint-Julien estate on gravel and clay soils close to the Gironde. The 2019 leans on Merlot (56%) with young Cabernet Sauvignon (44%), for a generous, fresh wine in classic Saint-Julien style. Harvest ran from 20 September to 9 October 2019.

Domaines Delon’s Clos du Marquis is a historic Saint-Julien vineyard distinct from Léoville Las Cases, with roots reaching back to its 1902 first vintage. The estate’s younger vines inspired La Petite Marquise, a second wine intended to preserve the quality of the principal bottling while offering a more immediately graceful, Merlot-led style.
