About this wine
This 2012 Amarone from the Dal Cero family comes from their estate in the eastern hills of Valpolicella, near Verona. Hand-selected bunches dry on wooden trays for three to four months before pressing, and the concentrated must stays on its skins for over two weeks. Ageing takes place in large oak casks and ovals, followed by time in bottle, for a deep wine of ripe fruit and spice with fresh acidity and fine tannins.

His sons Dario and Giuseppe added Tenuta Montecchiesi in Cortona, and the third generation - Davide, Nico and Francesca - created an estate in eastern Valpolicella, on a terrace above Verona with volcanic and limestone soils.
