The domaine’s Gevrey program is rooted in east-facing, brown-limestone-and-regolith sites and emphasizes careful hand selection, whole-grape fermentation, and measured barrel maturation. This is a structured red Burgundy shaped by savory site character and the lift that stems can bring, with the 2012 vintage offering mature character for collectors of Côte de Nuits wines.

Domaine David Duband grew from Pierre Duband’s Hautes-Côtes roots and David’s first wines in 1991. David later worked with François Feuillet and developed a portfolio spanning notable Premier and Grand Cru sites. The domaine abandoned herbicides in 1999 and converted to certified organic farming in 2006, while refining a whole-cluster-focused Burgundian style.
