About this wine
Les Procès is a premier cru in the southern part of Nuits-Saint-Georges; the domaine's vines, planted in the 1970s, grow mid-slope on clay-limestone. In 2017 half of the bunches were fermented whole, ferments lasted only around ten to twelve days and new oak for the premiers crus was held to about 15-20%.

Founded in 1858 in Vosne-Romanée and known as Domaine Robert Arnoux until 2007, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux farms 14.5 hectares of Pinot Noir across six Côte de Nuits villages. Sixth-generation Charles Lachaux, mentored by Lalou Bize-Leroy, has transformed the estate with organic farming, untrimmed arched canopies and a growing share of whole-cluster fermentation.
