About this wine
From a mid-slope parcel of clay-limestone in the southern part of Nuits-Saint-Georges, planted in the 1970s, Les Procès is one of the domaine's two premiers crus in the appellation. 2018 was a low-yielding, intense vintage in which almost every Arnoux-Lachaux wine was fermented entirely with whole bunches and none exceeded 13% alcohol. It was also the first vintage in the new royal blue and gold labels.
Highlights
- 2018 vintage, Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru AOC

from the producer
Founded in 1858 in Vosne-Romanée and known as Domaine Robert Arnoux until 2007, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux farms 14.5 hectares of Pinot Noir across six Côte de Nuits villages. Sixth-generation Charles Lachaux, mentored by Lalou Bize-Leroy, has transformed the estate with organic farming, untrimmed arched canopies and a growing share of whole-cluster fermentation.
