About this wine
Blended from three east-facing parcels in Vosne-Romanée, Les Communes, Les Saules and Les Bossières, this village wine comes from 1970s vines on clay-limestone and marl. The 2014 dates from the early Charles Lachaux era, when the domaine was gradually raising its share of whole-cluster fermentation, cutting back on new oak and ageing its wines mainly in barrel. Organic farming and gentle pressing in a vertical press, used since 2010, are part of the approach.

from the producer
Founded in 1858 in Vosne-Romanée and known as Domaine Robert Arnoux until 2007, Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux farms 14.5 hectares of Pinot Noir across six Côte de Nuits villages. Sixth-generation Charles Lachaux, mentored by Lalou Bize-Leroy, has transformed the estate with organic farming, untrimmed arched canopies and a growing share of whole-cluster fermentation.
