Domaine Chanson’s 2021 Bourgogne Pinot Noir brings together fruit from clay-and-limestone parcels in the Côte Chalonnaise, Hautes-Côtes de Beaune and Hautes-Côtes de Nuits. A cool, frost-marked season produced a low-volume vintage with floral character and vivid fruit. Domaine Chanson traces its story to 1750, when Simon Verry founded the estate. Ten generations have tended its Burgundian heritage, and the Chanson family followed the Verry family in 1847. Today the domaine works substantial holdings in both the Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise, combining historic continuity with contemporary precision.
