About this wine
Domaine de Chevalier Rouge 2002 presents a classic Pessac-Léognan profile from a classified Graves estate. The blend centers on Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Cabernet Franc, bringing ripe dark fruit, smoky spice and a cool licorice accent. Barrel maturation gives the wine added polish, while bright acidity keeps its delicate, flavorful texture focused. Its medium-bodied shape and savory, peppery persistence make this a poised Bordeaux for the table.

Domaine de Chevalier is a historic Léognan estate whose presence is documented on an 18th-century map. The Bernard family bought the property in 1983, and Olivier Bernard has guided it since. Its red wine is a Graves classified growth and a benchmark expression of Pessac-Léognan, produced from gravelly ground over clay-gravel subsoil.
