About this wine

Derrière Montbard is a 2023 red Burgundy from the sunny Hautes-Côtes de Beaune slopes near La Rochepot. Made entirely from Pinot Noir, it brings a light, graceful profile shaped by red berries, cherry and a gentle smoky nuance. The palate is juicy and finely textured, with balanced acidity and restrained tannin. Hand harvesting, complete destemming and a year of élevage give the wine both immediate freshness and a little extra depth. Enjoy it with roast meats, vegetable dishes or soft-ripened cheese.
