About this wine
Domaine Laurent Boussey’s 2014 Pommard is a structured red Burgundy from hillside parcels in the Côte de Beaune. The wine uses Pinot Noir alone, showing blackberry, blueberry, cherry stone and ripe plum alongside savory woodland and spice. Stainless-steel fermentation is followed by twelve months in French oak, adding frame to its energetic profile. Firm, dense tannins and a balanced, full-flavored palate suit hearty fare, from steak to game, as well as characterful cheeses.
