About this wine
Domaine Saint-Damien’s 2020 Gigondas Vieilles Vignes brings together old-vine Grenache and Mourvèdre from stone-strewn terraces in Gigondas. Fermented in concrete and matured in foudre, it balances generous southern Rhône richness with a graceful, lifted feel. Expect cherry and raspberry alongside pepper, lavender, garrigue and savory earthy notes, followed by composed tannins and a lingering, spicy close. It is a classic, food-friendly red with both immediate charm and the structure to develop in bottle.
