About this wine
Around 35% of a 20 Year Old tawny evaporates in cask before bottling. Dow's ages part of its tawnies in large, well-seasoned balseiro vats, so they keep more fruit and colour than most — together with the house's drier style. Honeysuckle and discreet butterscotch on the nose; flinty, mellow tannins with concentrated red berry and mineral freshness, then tobacco and a focused, dry finish.
