About this wine

Unusually for a Côtes du Rhône, Guigal's red is Syrah-led, with Grenache and Mourvèdre from vines averaging 25 years, given long skin contact and 18 months in large oak foudres. Deep, shiny red; fresh red berries and spice, then a full, round, racy palate with smooth tannins, a long finish and real finesse. Guigal gives it about eight years of ageing potential.
