About this wine
Enjingi Zweigelt 2018 brings Croatian Slavonia’s distinctive red-wine character into focus. Made entirely from Zweigelt grown around Kutjevo, it offers ripe cherry, plum, currant, and bay-leaf aromatics, followed by smooth tannins and integrated acidity. Stainless-steel fermentation precedes 18 months in Slavonian oak and further months in bottle, adding savory layers of chocolate, coffee, and spice to the fruit-driven profile. A softly textured finish recalls dark forest berries.

Enjingi is a long-established Croatian family winery led by Ivan Enjingi. Its estate spans about 50 hectares near Kutjevo on Mount Krndija’s slopes, with nine grape varieties planted across varied soils. Organic farming, low yields, and a strong connection to the land shape the winery’s contemporary expression of Slavonian wine.
