Fattoria Lavacchio is a family-run Tuscan estate near Pontassieve, founded in 1978 on Montefiesole. The 110-hectare property includes vineyards and olive groves, and was an early participant in organic farming programs. Grapes are hand-harvested, with estate wines made through spontaneous fermentation. Its setting and limestone-rich soils inform a distinctive Chianti Rufina style built for development.
