About this whiskey

Old No. 7 is the black-label Jack Daniel's, made to Mr. Jack's original recipe from corn, rye and malted barley with water from the distillery's own limestone cave spring. After two distillations the new spirit drips slowly through a deep bed of sugar-maple charcoal, the step that makes it a Tennessee whiskey rather than a bourbon.

It then matures in new, charred white oak barrels. Expect a well-rounded, balanced whiskey with caramel, vanilla and toasted wood and a slightly fruity aroma. It is the classic partner for cola, and just as good with ginger ale or lemonade.
