About this wine
Joseph Phelps Insignia 2022 is a Napa Valley red blend built around Cabernet Sauvignon, with Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec adding dimension. Grapes came from selected sites spanning Rutherford, Oak Knoll, Stags Leap, Napa Valley, and St. Helena. The wine’s dark-fruited profile moves toward cocoa, espresso, savory herbs, and tobacco, while cardamom and nutmeg bring aromatic lift. Firm, refined tannins and a warm, lingering finish give this estate-grown bottling both immediate appeal and the structure to mature further.
