About this wine
Clos des Ursules is where the Jadot story began: the house's first parcel, bought in 1826, a walled vineyard within Vignes Franches with a stone hut at its centre. Deep red clay gives structure and elegance. Hand-harvested Pinot Noir ferments naturally in oak vats, then ages about 16–18 months in large barrels (30% new). 2023 was hot and dry, rescued by June rain, giving a modest but concentrated crop — dark fruit, espresso and damp earth over dense, rounded tannins and fine acidity.
