About this wine
Lucien Le Moine's 2012 Pommard Premier Cru Les Épenots is a red Burgundy from one of Pommard's most renowned premier cru sites. Mounir Saouma and Rotem Brakin keep their wines on the lees until bottling without racking, allow long, late malolactic fermentations in a cold cellar, and bottle by gravity without fining or filtration. The natural CO2 retained in the bottle protects the wine, so the house recommends decanting every bottle before serving.
