About this wine
This Paradosso Montepulciano d'Abruzzo comes from a 30-year-old, low-yielding vineyard in Controguerra, in northern Abruzzo, where wide swings between day and night temperatures and organic growing techniques shape the fruit. The grapes are picked by hand in mid-October and fermented only in temperature-controlled steel; after malolactic fermentation the wine rests at least six months in bottle. Expect soft fruit, flowers and spice on a fresh, full-bodied, persistent palate. Vintage 2019, in magnum.
