About this wine
Patrizia Cencioni’s 2018 Brunello comes from Montalcino’s southeast flank, where Sangiovese yields a poised, savory red. The vintage sheet records careful grape selection, a long 32-day skin maceration and 40 months in Slavonian oak. Its profile moves from sour cherry and violet toward Mediterranean herbs, spice and smoky mineral depth. Full-bodied yet energetic, it combines ripe tannin, bright acidity and a lingering finish, making it a compelling Tuscan red for the table.
