About this wine
Patrizia Cencioni’s Rosso di Montalcino is made entirely from Sangiovese grown on the family estate on the south-eastern side of the Montalcino hill. Fermented in stainless steel with 15 to 20 days on the skins, it then spends 12 months in large Slavonian oak casks. Bright ruby in the glass, it offers vivid fresh cherry and violet with a touch of spice, and a well-structured, crisp, easy-drinking palate.
