About this wine
The 2012 Viña Tondonia Reserva is a classic Rioja red from Haro, built around estate-grown Tempranillo with Garnacho, Graciano and Mazuelo. Extended élevage shapes its mature personality: six years in barrel precede further unfiltered bottle development. In the glass, it is fresh yet seasoned, combining dried berry and vanilla tones with a rich, very dry palate, firm tannins and a poised finish. It is an engaging choice for diners who enjoy traditional, savory Spanish reds.
