About this wine

Ramón Bilbao Crianza 2017 is the Haro winery’s flagship Rioja: Tempranillo aged in American oak barrels and made to be fresh, fruity and easy to enjoy every day. Expect intense black-fruit flavours, especially blackberry and plum, with the ageing showing through in subtle notes of liquorice, vanilla, coconut and fresh bakery. The palate is elegant, juicy and very easy to drink.

Bodegas Ramón Bilbao began in Haro in 1924 and has remained closely linked to Rioja. Zamora Company became part of the winery’s story in 1999, when Rodolfo Bastida also joined; he now serves as technical and winery director. The house emphasizes fresh, elegant wines in which fruit leads and oak stays measured.
