About this wine

Ramos Pinto’s 2022 Duas Quintas Red comes from two contrasting Douro Superior estates, Quinta de Ervamoira and the higher, cooler Quinta dos Bons Ares, and blends traditional Douro grape varieties. Fermented plot by plot in granite lagares, oak vats, concrete and stainless steel, it is aged about 12 months, partly in French oak barrels and large vats and partly in steel. Seductive fleshy spice and balsamic notes with mature cherry lead to a rounded, velvety palate and a spicy, structured finish, balancing freshness, concentration and fruit.
