About this wine
Sessantanni is the wine that changed how the world sees Puglia, says San Marzano. It is made from Primitivo grown on old bush vines — at least sixty years old — trained in the region’s traditional alberello system. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, the 2020 spends 12 months in French and American oak. Prune and cherry-jam aromas with hints of tobacco lead to a full-bodied, well-balanced palate, soft and rich in elegant tannins, finishing long with cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
