Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny is blended from the house's reserves of old cask-aged Ports, matured in seasoned oak casks of about 630 litres in its cool lodges by the Atlantic coast. Years in wood give the amber-brick colour and the mellow, nutty complexity typical of aged tawny; it is bottled ready to drink. Taylor's calls it the best-selling 10 Year Old Tawny in the UK.

Taylor's (Taylor Fladgate) is one of the oldest Port houses, founded in 1692. In 1744 it became the first English shipper to buy a property in the Douro Valley, and it remains known above all for its Vintage Ports and aged tawnies, matured in its lodges in Vila Nova de Gaia across from Oporto.
