About this wine
Yvon Mau has selected and blended Bordeaux wines since 1897 at Gironde-sur-Dropt and is now part of the Henkell Freixenet group. Its Saint-Émilion blends Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc: rich, plummy Merlot fruit greets the nose with real intensity, while the Cabernets bring dark fruit and raspberry with light spice and pepper. Moderate tannins lead to a soft, lingering finish of delicate fruit, balanced and harmonious. This is the 2020 vintage.

from the producer
Yvon Mau collaborated with Hubert de Boüard on this Médoc wine, created within the Révélations d’Hubert de Boüard collection. De Boüard, co-owner and consultant winemaker at Château Angélus, guided a range intended to spotlight lesser-known Bordeaux sites. The project focuses on fruit, freshness, and balance, with a touch of elegance across distinct appellations.
