About this whiskey
This straight rye is one of Buffalo Trace's kosher whiskeys, produced under the supervision of the Chicago Rabbinical Council and matured in barrels set aside only for kosher spirits. It is released each year after Passover.
Expect a bold, assertive rye: peppery grain spice up front, with flashes of citrus and clove. At 94 proof it holds its own in a Manhattan or Sazerac, and it is just as good over a single large cube.

Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, carries more than 200 years of whiskey-making heritage and was named a National Historic Landmark in 2013. It takes its name from an ancient buffalo path that crosses the distillery grounds.
