Dalwhinnie describes a big, crisp, dry and very aromatic nose with hints of heather and peat; smooth, soft heather-honey sweetness and vanilla, then citrus fruit and malted bread; and a long, surprisingly intense finish that starts sweet and turns to smoke, peat and malt.
