from the producer
Green Spot began with the Mitchell family, wine and spirits merchants in Dublin since 1805, who matured whiskey from the old Jameson distillery in their own casks. Today it is distilled at Midleton in County Cork.
The name comes from the paint marks the Mitchells used on their casks to indicate age.
