from the producer
Hibiki is the flagship blended whisky of the House of Suntory, Japan's first whisky maker. It was launched in 1989 to mark Suntory's 90th anniversary and blends malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries with grain whisky from Chita.
The name means "resonance" in Japanese, and its 24-faceted bottle refers to the 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese calendar. Hibiki is known for its harmony and for the use of rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks.
