About this whiskey
Jim Beam's white-label bourbon is the everyday pour from a family that has been distilling since 1795. It is aged for four years, double the minimum for a straight bourbon, which gives it a light caramel color and a mellow character.
The nose shows oak and vanilla over a little spice; the palate is medium-bodied with caramel and vanilla, and the finish brings toasted oak and some sweetness. It is easy to sip and even easier to mix, especially in a Beam and ginger highball.

The Beam family has been making bourbon since 1795, when Jacob Beam sold his first barrel, and seven generations later the family is still part of the story. The distillery is in Clermont, Kentucky.
Jim Beam calls itself the world's number-one bourbon. Its standard white-label bourbon is aged four years, twice the legal minimum for a straight bourbon.
