Oban distillery was founded in 1794, before the town of Oban itself grew up around it, on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands, where the mountains meet the sea.

It is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, with just two pot stills, and its whisky sits between the smoky islands and the softer Highlands, with fruit, honey, salt and a whisper of smoke.
