Released in March 2026 as a limited edition, the second in Oban's 15-year-old cask-finished series, this whisky aged 15 years in American oak hogsheads before finishing in ex-American oak Ruby Port casks from Porto. Oban describes a dry, mellow nose of white wine, raspberries, vanilla ice cream and maritime freshness; a soft, creamy palate of honeyed sweetness, juicy red fruit, gentle salinity and building pepper; and a short-to-medium, dry and lightly sweet finish with white pepper.

Oban distillery was founded in 1794, before the town of Oban itself grew up around it, on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands, where the mountains meet the sea.

It is one of the smallest distilleries in Scotland, with just two pot stills, and its whisky sits between the smoky islands and the softer Highlands, with fruit, honey, salt and a whisper of smoke.
