Suntory Toki, launched in the US in June 2016, is built on two pillars, Hakushu American white oak cask malt and Chita heavy-type grain, with Yamazaki malts from American white oak and Spanish oak casks. Suntory describes basil, green apple and honey on the nose; grapefruit, green grapes, peppermint and thyme on the palate; and a subtly sweet, spicy finish of vanilla oak, white pepper and ginger.
