About this whiskey

Distiller's Select is Woodford Reserve's flagship bourbon, from a distillery whose site has been making whiskey since 1812. The brand says it has more than 200 detectable flavor notes, spanning grain, wood, sweet aromatics, spice, fruit and floral character.

It pours a brilliant honey amber. The nose is rich with dried fruit, a little mint and orange, cocoa, vanilla and tobacco spice; the palate is chewy and rounded with citrus, cinnamon, toffee, caramel and chocolate, and the finish is silky and warm. It is a great sipper and a classic choice for a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.
