About this whiskey

Double Double Oaked is Woodford Reserve's most indulgent double-barreled bourbon. It takes an extended rest in a second custom barrel, deeply toasted and lightly charred, for unusual richness and depth.

It is the color of roasted coffee beans. Maple syrup, dark butterscotch, brittle caramel, bittersweet chocolate, burnt marshmallow and sweet hickory smoke fill the nose. The palate brings dried cherry and cranberry in blackberry jam, brightened by ripe apple, with chai and clove. The finish is warm and drying, with lingering clove.
